Radiologic Science Seminar 2025
Research Paper / Presentation
Research an innovative topic related to radiology (new technology or procedure, a process improvement workflow or quality assurance controls, an advancement in your field, or patient education efforts, etc.) This research can be your own experiment, or else a report of the published research of others. You will provide background info on the current method being used, why that method needs improvement, and then introduce the innovative new topic. You’ll compare the facts and validate them with your findings from a Case Study or a Peer Reviewed Literary Article.
You are NOT trying to create a sales-pitch! You are aiming to create a well-rounded paper that could be published through the ASRT… It will be typed with double spacing, 1-inch margins, size 12 font, and AMA style for references. The draft will be graded using the final paper rubric points, but recorded as a hw category score. The ASRT Author Guide can help you: https://www.asrt.org/main/news-publications/publications/authorguide/resources/citing-your-references
