Starting with the 2014 Euro-Maidan protests and continuing over the last eight years, a political crisis in Ukraine fomented by Russian hegemonic interests has boiled over into a full-fledged war.
This guide is intended to help provide an overview of the conflict - how it started and how it progressed - and to provide resources to stay up to date with events as they occur. Due to the nature of Information Warfare there may be a number of inauthentic or misleading sources about this subject, so this guide will also give a brief overview on how to recognize disinformation and to stop its spread.
Finally, the guide also has a number of links to reputable charity and aid organizations that are providing assistance to those affected by the war.
