An introduction to the problems of scarcity and resource allocation as it pertains to households and firms. The course centers on production and cost analysis in the four major types of industry models. Topics include supply and demand, elasticity, consumer choice, government in the microeconomy, and price determination under various market conditions.

Guidelines for Principles of Microeconomics APA Research Abstract & Final Paper Course Requirement:

1)  APA Research Project Topic is of your choosing (related to Economics or Business);

2)  APA Research Project Abstract is limited to 150 words;

3)  Along with APA Project Abstract a reference page of three initial primary sources is to be submitted;

4)  APA Research Project Abstract and Initial Primary Sources are to be submitted in standard APA formatting style (i.e., typewritten double-spaced pages with standard 1-inch margins).  Arial 11-point or Times New Roman 12-point font is preferred.

APA Research Abstract and Initial Primary Sources Submission Due Date: 4 Nov 2024

5)  APA Research Project Final Paper is expected to be 1200 to 2000 words in standard APA formatting style (i.e., typewritten double-spaced pages with standard 1-inch margins).  Arial 12-point or Times New Roman 12-point font is preferred;

6)  At least five primary reference sources are expected to be cited and referenced in APA Research Final Paper.

7)  APA Research Project Abstract and Final Paper due dates are referenced above, on course syllabus, course Blackboard site.  Any changes will be given during class time and posted to course Blackboard.

I would suggest you be working on this course requirement sooner rather than later.  Writing is a difficult undertaking and re-writing is an arduous but important part of the writing process.  Picking a topic that interests you makes this task much easier.
