Spotting AI Generated Images

Count the number of fingers and toes!
AI often gets the anatomy subtlety wrong, adding or subtracting appendages.
If there is text in the background, do the words make sense?

Sometimes all AI will create letters but no words or sentences.

Edges of objects start to blend.
AI can sometimes get confused about where one things starts and the other thing ends, and blends objects or people together.
Has physics left the building?
While physics can do some pretty impressive things, there are some things that science says are impossible or highly improbable.
Do items and people make sense?
Pillars right next to each other that are different sizes, or a window crammed into a wall at an odd angle may exist, but chances are an architect didn’t plan that.
Is the background weird?
In a lot of AI images, the further away from the ‘screen’ things are, the fuzzier they get, do all those people in the background have a face?
Is the person too asymmetrical, or is the image too perfect?
Everything and everyone has small imperfections, AI tries to make everything perfect as a default.
Non-AI images tend to be grainier, less polished.
