The Connecticut Society of Medical Assistants (CTSMA) is an affiliate of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). They proudly support medical assistants by encouraging, educating, and inspiring them to do their best within their careers as well as in their community.

The National Association for Health Professionals was established in 1982 and is now the premier certification body providing credentialing for healthcare professionals in the roles of administrative health assistants, EKG technicians, coding specialists, dental assistants, medical assistants, patient care technicians, pharmacy technicians, phlebotomy technicians, and surgical technicians.
