Connecting with a Cable

  1. Insert the HDMI cable into one of the four HDMI slots located on the left side of the SMART Board. Attach the other end to your laptop.
  2. A window opens showing the ports. Tap the HDMI port with the green dot.
  3. Now your computer screen will display on the SMART Board.
  4. Your display will remain connected even if you open other apps on the SMART Board. To get back to your display, tap the connection icon on the bottom of the home screen

Browser

Engage your students by adding interactive websites to your bookmarks for easy access and invite students to interact on the display. Enhance your lessons by opening a resource on the board and adding notes over it.

To launch the Browser, tap

When you need to type a floating keyboard appears. Use the floating keyboard to type in the Browser. You can move the keyboard by dragging the plus sign (+) in the upper-right corner. The keyboard is hidden when you don’t need it.

Pick up a SMART pen to begin writing notes over the Browser and light gray diagonal lines appear. Change the pen’s color by tapping the pen icon on the left side of the screen.

While browsing the internet, tap a file or image to save it to the Files Library.
