Interactive Learning Zone: with SMART Board

Start with a Whiteboard

To launch, tap the Whiteboard icon on the home screen

The Whiteboard can be a student collaboration area to encourage brainstorming and discussion. Faculty can use it to engage students by leveraging digital backgrounds to capture students’ ideas, show students thinking, and create artifacts of meaningful discussions.

The Whole Class Whiteboard can be displayed on student's computers. They can even edit or add information that will display on the whiteboard.

Use the variety of pen tools, colors, and line thickness options to interact with and highlight critical content during your lesson.

  • You can use either your finger to write on the Whiteboard or the SMART board pen and eraser which are available for checkout at the Information Desk.
  • You can select from a number of templates to change the background.
  • You can save your work to the Files Library.
