The longest running publication in the addiction field and a leading source of practical, how-to information for professionals in addiction treatment and behavioral healthcare and the clients they serve.
The search box above is for a combined search of three behavioral health databases in EBSCO. These are subscription databases, meaning they contain articles that are not freely available on the open web. These databases were especially chosen for your program and contain articles from scholarly publications.
Begin your search with your key words. For example: alcoholism AND family. Check off the two boxes underneath this search box labeled: full-text, and peer-reviewed. This will ensure that your search results will be limited to whole, scholarly articles.
When you search the databases, it's not like searching Google. You won't see any helpful "Did you mean...?" suggestions when you misspell something. If you are not getting the results you expected, double check your spelling.
Use the built in thesaurus in EBSCO to find additional search terms. If you need any help at all, click on the chat button to ask a librarian!
