Join The Amistad Center for Art & Culture in the celebration of Juneteenth and explore themes of emancipation and diaspora through FreedomWays: From Jubilee to Juneteenth on view in Pryor Gallery. Work with Hartford-based ceramist Danessa Pedroso in a nkisi nkondi (power figure) workshop or make your mark with your own Jackie Robinson coloring book! Tune in to a Harlem Renaissance-inspired musical set by the Erica Tracy and Tom Sullivan Duo in the galleries and enjoy various Afro-beats with DJ Michelle Bee in Gengras Courtyard.
