This page outlines the equipment available to currently enrolled Middlesex students. Students must be registered for classes at the Middlesex Campus. Equipment is available for loan at the library front desk.

Equipment must be picked up in person and returned in person by the student to the location from which it was borrowed during the library’s operating hours. Equipment may not be returned in the book drop. Meriden campus students must return their equipment to the Meriden campus.

• All equipment must be returned to the library front desk.
• Equipment must be returned in good working condition.
• Borrowers are liable for any charges to repair or replace equipment.
• Failure to return equipment will result in a Banner hold being placed upon your account, and you will be charged the full cost of replacing the the item.

The library lends Dell Latitude 5410/20 Laptops with Microsoft Office Software Suite installed.

• The loan period is one semester
• No renewals
• Students are required to sign Laptop Borrower's Agreement Forms
• There is a $100 cleaning fee for laptops / cases returned dirty
• You will be charged for any missing items: laptop, laptop bag, laptop two piece charger
• Failure to return equipment by the library due date will result in the borrower being billed for the total replacement cost of the equipment. You will not be able to register for classes or receive your transcripts until this issue is resolved.
• Late returns of equipment will result in a non-refundable $10 item processing fee.

The library lends Verizon Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspots.

A Mobile Hotspot is a portable device with a Wi-Fi network. You can connect your phone, laptop or other wireless devices to the mobile hotspot to access the Internet. Access the Internet in any location where there is Verizon phone signal coverage.  View the Verizon Coverage Map

The library lends TI-84 and TI-83 graphing calculators.

• The loan period for the 2023-2024 academic year is one semester
• No renewals
• Failure to return equipment will result in the borrower being billed for the total replacement cost of the equipment. You will not be able to register for classes or receive your transcripts until this issue is resolved.
• Late returns of equipment will result in a non-refundable $10 item processing fee.

The library lends headsets with microphones for in-library use.

• The loan period for headsets is 4 hours

The library lends USB-C phone and laptop chargers for in-library use.

• The loan period for chargers is 2 hours
