The Library has several different options for patrons who want to print, copy, or scan.
- Printing
- All student computers print in black and white for free. There may be limits on the amount of printing a student can do, please ask at the Reference Desk if you have questions about printing limitations.
- Wireless printing is available by sending a PDF attachment to HC-Print@ctstate.edu, then logging in to the student copy machine to print
- Copy machine (also used for wireless printing)
- Log in with your Copier user name (this is different from your regular CT State login). To find your Copier login:
- Log on to one of the Library's computers
- Click the File Explorer icon on the bottom of the screen (yellow folder)
- Click This PC, then Local Disk, then open the Users folder
- Find the folder with your first initial and last name and possibly a number. This is your Copier user name (example: jbrown23). Some user names do not have a number.
- Copies and prints wirelessly in black & white for free
- Scanning is free
- Scanned items must be stored on a USB drive. If you do not have your own, a USB drive can be borrowed from the Circulation Desk. They cannot leave the library, but this allows you to scan items, bring them to a computer, and either print them out or send them to yourself via e-mail.
