LIBRARY INSTRUCTION INFORMATION FOR FACULTY

To request a librarian-led Library Skills instruction session, please follow these easy steps:

  1. Go to the library’s homepage at https://library.ctstate.edu/naugatuckvalley
  2. Select Instruction Services under the Faculty & Staff section
  3. Request the type of instruction that works best for you:
    • Standard (one class session, usually assignment-based)
    • Embedded Librarian (works with you throughout the semester)
    • Max’s 5X5 (short, in-class focus on a research technique)
  4. Fill out all required fields and submit the form
  5. You will receive an automated reply.  This is not a confirmation.
  6. In a day or two, you will receive an email from the librarian confirming date and time and the name of the librarian who will be conducting your session.

Please note: Individual Library Instruction sessions are crafted around your assignment requiring college-level research. Our goal is to engage students by providing them with the best library skills for achieving success for that specific assignment. Please have assignment information ready for the librarian to review.
