This book is very interesting in that how life can turn out so differently based on your choices. Even if someone decides something a little different, it can spell out how our future plays out. It also shows the injustices that people face that still are affecting people today. It also shows how much your parents shape us to be the grown ups we are today. That we need our parental support in order to be successful and the differences in having that support and not. This book shows how you can come from the same neighborhood, the same places, and even the same name and have very different out comes to your life. This should show parents and future parents the need to be good role models for your kids.

This book should be read by everyone in America! It shows how people in power can use religion (or twist religion) to harm others in our society. It is a very scary dystopia and has been challenged in many states to be banned or has been banned. This book is the reason we need to remember where we come from and where we are going, to make sure the future is free for all people to have rights. The Handmaid's Tale shows us that every person in our society deserve freedom, economic freedom, and basic Human Rights. It also shows why the separation of the church and state is paramount!
