The Fall 2024 Laptop and Hotspot lending form is closed for the semester. If you filled out the form previously, but have not heard from the library, you are still on the waitlist and will receive an email if a Laptop or Hotspot becomes available for you.

Laptops and Hotspots that were borrowed for the Fall semester are due on or before the last day of final exams: December 16, 2024.
If you currently have a Laptop or Hotspot checked out from the Library and you need one for the Spring semester, you must return your current device to the Library by the December 16th due date and fill out the form for a device for the Spring semester. You will receive an email if a device is available to you for the Spring semester.
Spring 2025 Laptops and Hotspots
If you are a Housatonic student and you need to borrow a laptop or an internet hotspot to use for your schoolwork, the Housatonic Library would love to help! Laptop and hotspot request forms open on the first day of registration for each semester. That means that for the Spring 2025 semester, forms will open on October 28, 2024.

A week before the Spring 2025 semester starts, a librarian will contact you if the technology you requested is available for you.
Once the semester starts, you will have 1 week to come to the Housatonic Library and pick up the laptop or hotspot that has been assigned to you. If you do not come pick up within that week, the technology will be moved to the next person on the waitlist.
Dates to Remember
December 16, 2024: Fall 2024 Laptops and Hotspots Due
(note: you can not keep a laptop or hotspot semester-to-semester. Each semester you must return the technology you borrowed on time and in good working order and fill out a form for the following semester)
October 28, 2024: Spring 2025 Laptop and Hotspot Request Forms become available
(note: the forms always become available on the first day of registration for a semester)
January 17, 2025: Spring 2025 Laptop and Hotspot lending begins.
(note: if a laptop or hotspot is available for you, this is the first date you will receive an email)
January 24, 2025: Spring Semester classes begin
May 19, 2024: Spring 2025 laptops and hotspots due
