Open Educational Resources (OER) at CT State Three Rivers

OER materials for teaching and learning.

The Open Educational Resources Program at Three Rivers Library provides faculty with the following support:

  • Adoption: Find OER suited to course learning objectives, current topics, and student needs. 
  • Copyright: Review copyright restrictions and open licenses of materials to ensure that reuse, remixing, revision and redistribution are allowed. 
  • Open Media: Assist with finding images, video and multi-media to use in OER creation.
  • Formatting and Building: Recommend platforms to create OER and use of editing dashboards.
  • Creative Commons Licenses: Choose licenses for materials created by Three Rivers faculty.
  • Open Pedagogy: Help to design assignments and course objectives that center student agency in the learning process.
