- Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more.
The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.
The program is open to Pell grant recipients as well as those receiving SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline.
Laptop Borrowing
FALL 2024 UPDATE
Due to high demand, the library is no longer taking requests for the fall 2024 semester.
General Policies:
- Laptops will be loaned for the entire semester/session.
- First-time borrowers must complete a short learning module (versión en español) before borrowing a laptop.
- Proof of enrollment in at least one Manchester campus course is required, and requests must be submitted using this form.
- The library staff will contact you to confirm your request is approved or you are added to a waiting list.
- Laptops (HP EliteBook, HP ProBook 430, Dell Latitude 5410/20 and Chromebooks) are available for checkout at the Damato Library circulation desk.
- You must log into the laptop using your NetID and password before leaving campus!
- Students must show a valid driver's license, learner's permit, state non-driver photo ID, or Hartford City ID. The library staff will make a photocopy of it that will be shredded once the laptop is returned.
*All laptops are to be returned to the Library Circulation Desk. If you need software installed, please contact the CCC Helpdesk. IT must approve all software and will perform the installation.
