Access Assistance

  • There are automatic doors for the Chapman Hall where the Library is located.
  • An elevator provides access to the other floors in Chapman Hall.
  • Assistance with accessibility devices and software is available.

Locating and Retrieving Library Materials

If you need assistance retrieving any printed material from the library stacks, the staff at the front desk will help you. You may also arrange to have materials ready for pick up.

If you are unable to come to the library due to a disability, contact the Library at 860-343-5830 to designate a person who will pick up the materials for you.

Research Assistance

Librarians are available for research help!

If you require an accommodation for your research consultation with a librarian, such as the use of a screen reader or other assistive technology, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements for your meeting. You may also contact the Library with any questions about the electronic accessibility of any of our resources.
