C-Pods and Group Study Rooms

C-Pods are intended for academic use only. There are a total of four (4) collaborative workstations  - 2 Mac-based (Rooms 708 A and B) and 2 PC-based (C-Pod A and B). Each workstation seats up to five (5) students. The following policies apply to the workstations:

  • Reservations are accepted on the spot for groups of 2 or more only if a station is free.
  • Workstations can only be reserved or occupied for a period of up to 2 hours.
  • Walk-up groups of 2 or more may use the workstations – if they are not booked – for a period of up to 2 hours.
  • If there is no one waiting to use a station after 2 hours, groups are permitted to stay longer.
  • Reasonable low-level talking is permitted at the workstations.
  • Covered drinks are permitted; however, no food allowed.

Group Study Rooms

Room 705 is a small group study room with two PCs that may be booked by students and others in the Middlesex Campus community.

Groups of 2 or More People

  • Study Rooms are for Middlesex Staff, Faculty, or Students only.
  • Go to the Library Front Desk to inquire if this room is available.
  • Walk-in reservations are accepted only if the room is free. No reoccurring appointments may be made.
  • If you reserve the room but do not appear 15 minutes past the reserved time, the room may be given to others who are waiting.

Individuals

  • This room may be used on a first-come, first-served basis only (no reservations allowed), Inquire at the Library Front Desk about availability. If the room is required by a group of 2 or more, or by Disability Services, you will be asked to leave.
