Borrowing Privileges

A Middlesex library card is required to borrow materials. Middlesex students, faculty, and staff may use their Middlesex ID as their library card. With a valid photo I.D., community members may apply for a library card at the main library desk.

Use the online catalog to search for items. Items may be renewed for an additional loan period as long as no one has requested the item. You can view your library account, renew items or place holds online or contact us through email (mx-library@mxcc.edu), phone (860.343.5830), or online chat.

Materials should be returned to the library main desk or in the book drop outside the library staff door in Chapman Hall. For Middlesex Platt students, you can return materials to Platt High School Media Center. If you fail to return an item, you will be charged the full replacement price of the item.
