If you are a Three Rivers student and in need of a computer for educational purposes, please complete a laptop loan application. A library staff member will review your application and if a laptop is available, you will receive an email confirmation to pick up requested item(s) at the library. 

Students must return laptops at the end of the semester.  If your item is damaged or not returned on time, a replacement fee for lost or damaged items will be charged to your account and a Banner hold will be placed on your account. The library reserves the right to text students with overdue items. Replacement charges are as follows; repairs vary by device and damage:

• $950 for laptops
• $100 for laptop chargers

To borrow a laptop, students must:

• be currently enrolled in classes at  CT State Community College
• agree to return the laptop at the end of the semester.  (Laptops may be renewed from fall to spring semester if student has enrolled in spring classes)
• use the laptop for academic purposes only and abide by the CSCU Electronic Communication policy and the CSCU Acceptable Use Policy 
• sign a user agreement form, which details the terms of the loan, including the cost of the laptop or peripherals in the event of loss or damage
