Submitting your 3D print job

Manchester Makerspace 3D Printer Request Form
Use this form to submit 3D printing requests to the CT State Manchester Library Makerspace. Generally, requests will be printed by makerspace staff in the order in which they are received, although requests for courses may take priority.

Library Supplies and Recommended List of Suppliers

The library maintains a limited stock of crafting supplies that are available to students, faculty and staff free of charge. The following limits have been established per semester for certain types of materials:

25 buttons total of any size
50g of PLA for the 3D printer (about 1 hour of printing)
Vinyl for Cricut - Up to five projects
Draftboard/plywood/acrylic for Glowforge - Up to five projects
Laminator - Five items

For larger projects, we recommend purchasing materials from the following suppliers:

American Button Machine - https://www.americanbuttonmachines.com/ (Note: The Makerspace has one 2.25" and one 1.25" button makers)
Amazon - Staff consultations are highly recommended before purchasing items from Amazon for use in the Makerspace. We reserve the right to refuse the use of materials that are incompatible with the equipment.
