The Educational Technology Department serves as a resource for faculty and staff looking to enrich the quality of education at Gateway Community College through the proper application of technologies both on and off campus. Our department is responsible for maintaining all audio/visual systems in the 117 classrooms on campus, including but not limited to providing technical support as needed, and working to anticipate the technological needs of our faculty, staff, and students.

General services include faculty/staff training, event support, classroom support, campus-wide digital signage, audio/video conversion and duplication, video and multimedia production, and lecture capture. We also provide support utilizing our campus' specialty spaces, including our Community Center, TV Studio and more.

In addition to the services mentioned, we provide open computer labs accessible to all students year round. These spaces provide students with a quiet space to study and work on assignments, and are monitored by our student workers who can provide technical assistance as needed.
