About Our Library

Library Conference Room Use

The Library Conference Room is primarily designated for library staff activities. However, it may also be available for faculty and staff who require a space for meetings, training sessions, presentations, workshops, and other professional gatherings. Please note that reservations for this space are not permitted for non-college community groups. The maximum capacity for the conference room is 20 people.
Our goal is to maximize the use of the Conference Room when it is not in use by library staff. While we strive to accommodate the needs of our community, access to the conference room is at the discretion of library staff. We are committed to ensuring fair and equitable availability for all potential users and reserve the right to deny requests on a case-by-case basis.
It's important to clarify that the Library Classroom and Conference Room are not included in the pool of community computer classrooms accessible to faculty and staff. Those facilities can be reserved through the EMS service available at the college.
When reserving the Conference Room, the individual responsible must adhere to the following guidelines:
  • Follow the agreed-upon hours of the reservation.
  • Ensure that all computer equipment is properly shut down.
  • Remove all trash and leftover materials before leaving.
  • Lock the door upon exiting.
If you require special accommodations, please reach out to the Library Director at Taja.Sylvester@ctstate.edu.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a welcoming and functional environment for our library community. If you have any questions or require assistance, please feel free to reach out.
