About Our Library

Library Conference Room Use

The primary use of the Library Conference room is for library staff activities. It may be available for faculty and staff needing a space for meetings, trainings, presentations, workshops, etc. Non-college community groups are not permitted to reserve or use this space.

The library seeks to maximize the use of the conference room when it is not being used by our staff. The conference room is opened up to the community at the discretion of the library staff. Our policy is to ensure that it is available to all potential users in a fair and equitable manner. We reserve the right to deny the use of the room on a case by case basis.

The Library Classroom and Conference room are not a part of the pool of community computer classrooms available to faculty and staff. Those community rooms can be reserved through the EMS service at the college.

The person who reserves the room is responsible for:

  • Adhering to the agreed-upon hours of the reservation
  • Shutting down the computer equipment
  • Removing all trash and left over paperwork
  • Locking the door
