The Norwalk Campus Archives began collecting new materials digitally in 2022. In the same year, the archives moved from compact basement storage to a dedicated room on the second floor of the library that provides space for processing and digitizing our historic physical collections dating from the founding of the campus.
Current priorities for digitization include photographs and bound-format materials such as yearbooks and course catalogs.
Baker Library is actively pursuing grant funding opportunities to support the digitization of large-format materials such as student newspapers, as well as the processing and digitization of previously uncatalogued materials that form a large portion of the collection.
