Introducing the Norwalk Campus Archives

The Norwalk Campus Archives collect primary source materials documenting the history of CT State Norwalk and its preceding institutions, Norwalk Community College and Norwalk State Technical College. By collecting and sharing the stories of our campus's past and present, the Norwalk Campus Archives promote student, staff, and faculty engagement and inclusion in the ongoing story of CT State Norwalk.

Housed on the second floor of Baker Library, the collection includes but is not limited to:

  • Course catalogs
  • Student publications
  • Yearbooks
  • Committee reports and meeting minutes
  • Faculty newsletters and handbooks
  • Records of campus events and clubs
  • Newspaper clippings
  • Photographs and ephemera

Services provided by the archives and detailed in this guide include:

  • proactive collection of new materials
  • increasing accessibility of the collection by processing, cataloging, and digitizing legacy materials
  • providing research support for members of the campus community and the general public
