Calculator Policy
- Calculators are available to loan to GCC students, faculty, and staff only.
- The patron must show his or her Gateway College ID in order to borrow a calculator.
- There are two types of calculators, 3 hour and semester loans. All calculators are borrowed on a first-come first-serve basis. 3 hour loan calculators must be returned each day. Semester calculators are due back at the end of the semester or intersession. They cannot be reserved in advance.
- The patron agrees to return the calculator on time and in complete working condition (calculator, cover, batteries, and battery cover). If calculator is returned damaged or incomplete, or if the calculator is not returned on its due date, the patron will be billed the replacement cost of the calculator ($150.00), have his/her borrowing privileges suspended, and have a Banner hold placed on their student account.
