BENJAMIN BOUTAUGH

Benjamin BoutaughProfessor, Business Administration

Prior to his teaching career, Ben was an associate with Biller, Sachs, Raio & Zito in Hamden, Conn., practicing many facets of law including civil/commercial litigation, probate law, collections, insurance law, workers’ compensation, and landlord/tenants disputes. He also served as legal intern with Keyes, Looney & Murphy law firm in New Haven, and at the Quinnipiac University School of Law Health Law Clinic.

Ben is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the New Haven County Bar Association. He was admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut in 2000 and the U.S. District Court of Connecticut in 2001. He earned his juris doctor (cum laude) from Quinnipiac University School of Law, ranking in the top 18 percent of his class, and is the 1999 recipient of two Distinguished Academic Achievement Awards in Health Law and Labor Law. He earned his MBA from the University of New Haven, and Bachelor’s of Science in Management from Central Connecticut State University.
