Jennifer Shafer Wood, Portland resident, earned two degrees during her time at Middlesex: Broadcast Communications and General Studies. She is currently self-employed as an event planner, radio host, producer, and singer/songwriter. While she was attending Middlesex, she interned at a production house and at KC 101.

She believes that Middlesex prepared her for the professional world. At Middlesex, she learned to write well and communicate. She will never forget the lasting friendships and beautiful location and credits Middlesex as a great school that gave her a shot at a good education!
